John "Johnny" Cochrane
John is fairly new to the Quick Cycle camp, but has made the transition well. He joins some of the others in the Under 15 boys section and so far his best results are gold in the 2km pursiut at the Blackburn Club Championships, and bronze in the Match Sprint and 500m Time Trial. In open races he came 2nd in the B grade points race and 4th in the flying lap at the Echuca/Moama Track Championships. He would like to finish in the top 20 at the State Road Championships.
John likes track and his favourite events are pursuit, match sprinting and the flying 200. He likes riding his Fuji Track Comp on the track and on the road he rides a Fuji Team, though his dream bike is the Azzurri Carbon T700. He has 3 cycling heroes, Chris Boardmen, Sean Eadie and Anna Meares.
When John isn't riding his bike he likes playing the drums, playing on Xbox and kayaking.

Emerson Harwood

Emerson started riding when he was U13s, now U17s. Favourite events are all track: points, race, motorpace, scratch, elimination and madison. Best results so far include 3rd in the U15 points race at the Junior State track titles summer 2007-8, and winning the Blackburn Australia Day junior madison with Russel Poole earlier this year.Goals for next year: making the Victorian state track team.

Michael Stringer
Michael is 12 years old and loves riding criteriums and on the road. His best result so far is 3rd in the clubs teams J13 road time trial in 2008, when he rode with Blackburn team-mates Angus Flood, Pierce Connor and Jono Dent. His main goal for 2010 is making the U15's State Road team. Apart from his cycling hero Eddie Merckx, Michael also loves sushi, hip hop music and playing soccer.
Alex Morgan Morgziee, Morgz or Morgasm(name given by George Tansley)

Alex's favourite training ride is to Healesville then up the Myers Creek Road climb and back through the Christmas Hills to Warrandyte on his Ridley Damocles with Campag Record. When he is not on the road he is whipping it up at the track on his CKT. His favourite events are the Individual Road Time Trial and the Individual Pursuit.
Best results since he started racing in January 2008 include 1st in A Grade (Open Age) 1 in 20 Time Trial, 1st Overall Northern Combine Junior Tour, State Schools Champion for U17, Silver Medal Victorian IRTT and Silver Medal Victorian Hill Climb. From here, he hopes to make the Victorian State road and track teams for 2009-2010 where he hopes to receive a medal in the M17 Individual Pursuit and have a shot at the Australian M17 Individual Pursuit Record.
He takes his motto from cycling hero Lance Armstrong: "Pain may last a minute, an hour or a day, but eventually something else will take it's place. If I give up, however, it will last forever". Other cycling heros are Bradley Wiggins and Jens Voigt.
Dream bike: Ridley NOAH
Briony Cole

Briony only started cycling a bit over a year ago, and now has one track season and road season behind her. Briony's favourite event is the road time trial. She hopes to win some medals in the up coming track season. She loves riding the road, and one of her main goals for 2009 has been to perform as well as she can. Outside of cycling, she loves art, sushi and cooking.
Dream Bike: A time trial bike
Kurt Santagada aka"kurtles"
Started cycling: June 2008
Favourite race: sprint, elimination. Best results so far: 2nd at the Metro track titles in the U13 time trial, and 3rd in the sprint.

Jono Dent

Jono started cycling in 2006. Mainly an endurance rider, Jono's favourite discipline is the pursuit, and he is a strong team rider, gaining 3rd place in the Club's teams U13 road time trial in 2008 with team mates Michael Stringer, Angus Flood and Pierce Connor. Jono is now racing in U15's, and hopes to improve even more. He currently rides an Avanti Pista, but dreams of a BT Blade! Outside of cycling he likes playing soccer, eating sushi and listening to rock music.
