Blackburn Australia Day Madison

Alex Morgan and Emerson Harwood finish second in a very strong field. Liam Dove and Vaughn Allen finished well after finishing a 3 day strength block on Mt Baw Baw.

Christmas Carnivals

27th of December to 30th December, 2009

Quickcycle riders Alex Morgan, Emerson Harwood and Mitchell Barry finish first second and third in the Jayco Christmas carnivals aggregate M17 catergory

Kurt Santagada finished second in the M15 aggregate catergory.

Revolution 5 Junior Austral Wheelrace

Wednesday 16th of December, 2009

Emerson Harwood (right) won the Junior Austral Wheelrace on Wednesday night against some pretty tough competition. Many of the Quick Cycle Juniors raced earlier in the day with Briony Cole, Caitlin Ward, Alex Morgan and Emerson all racing in the evening session for the Teschner Future Stars.

Victorian Metropolitan Track Championships

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th 2009

Many of our riders did really well recently in the Metros. Caitlin Ward swept the U17 womens to get Gold in four events. Tim White (left) also got Gold for the Pursuit. Other medal winners were Kyle Muir (1 Silver, 2 Bronze), Jonathon Dent (2 Silver), Pierce Connor (1 Bronze), Yasmin Gugel (1 Silver, 1 Bronze), Alex Morgan (1 Bronze).

Women's Ominium

Sunday 22nd November, 2009

On Sunday Briony Cole, Yasmin Gugel (right) and Caitlin Ward competed in the 2009 Women's Ominium at DISC. They raced in 5 events each and Caitlin took out 2nd overall for the day.

Stratford to Dargo KOM road race, and Maffra Criterium

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November, 2009

Congratulations to Steven Cousins (left) and Andy Christie (right) who came 1st and 4th respectively in B grade at Stratford to Dargo KOM road race, facing not only tough competition, but sweltering heat and a climb to the finish with gradients in excess of 13%.

The following day, Steven also won B grade at the Maffra Criterium, and Andy placed 3rd. Cameron Parlevliet (below left), who staged a long and successful solo breakaway early in the race, claiming every sprint along the way, was caught by Steven and Andy in the final laps, but hung on to claim 2nd overall. Liam Dove was 4th. Meanwhile, Connor Murtagh (below right) won C grade.

Damian McDonald Memorial Road Race at Lang Lang

In E grade Mitchell Barry came first, followed by Jonathon Dent in second and Micheal Stringer in 3rd place. In D grade Mitchell Burden came first with Emerson Harwood coming 4th. Alex Morgan took out the 1st place in C grade with Cameron Parlevliet in 3rd place.

Eildon Junior Camp 2009
