Victorian Club Teams Road Team Time Trial Championships

Great rides from Quickcycle riders representing the Blackburn Cycling Club at the Vic Clubs teams. Liam Dove (left picture) rode with Alex Morgan in the winning M19 team, their winning margin of 5 mins was a great performance considering the high winds and cold wet weather. Other riders QC representing the club were Cameron, Mitchell, Andy, Alistair, Pierce, Angus, John and Kyle.

Northern Combine - 3 Day Tour, 12th - 14th June

A good tour was had by all from the Quck Cycle Riders and again, had riders representing us in nearly all grades.  Best result for the weekend was from Heidi Buntrock who won the Time Trial stage, won KOM and came 2nd in the General classification.  Well done Heidi.

Wangaratta Club Tour 5th - 6th June

The tour proved to be a really good one for our riders, with many winning their grades or placing.  It was really good to see a wide spread of the QuickCycle Riders in every grade except the Junior Grades.  One notable performace was from Mitchell Barry who won C grade's GC and also won KOM and was the Sprint King.

Well done Mitchell.

After her great results from the 2010 Junior Track Nationals in Melbourne, Cailtin Ward (picture left) has been accepted into the NTID Program. Congratulations Caitlin.

Caitlin is the third Quickcycle female to be be accepted onto the program in as many years, Noami and Adele being the previous riders.

Victorian Junior Criterium Championships

Several Quick Cycle riders competed in the criterium at Castlemaine on Sunday the 28th of March, however Alex Morgan was the main victory after a fast break away in the first lap he continued to work hard until he had lapped the field and then settled in with the main group for the last few laps.

09/10 Jayco Track Aggregate Series Results

Quick Cycle Riders did well in the aggregate series, with Kurt Santagada coming first in the M15 section, with Pierce Connor coming 5th and Angus Flood 8th.  In the W17 Briony Cole came 5th with Caitlin Ward getting equal 6th.  For the M17 Emerson Hardwood and Alex Morgan came equal first, Mitchell Barry came 6th and Craig Firman got equal 10th.

2010 Australian Junior Track Championships

Caitlin Ward wins Gold in Team Sprint and Alex Morgan wins Gold in the Teams Pursuit on Thursday at the National Junior track titles. Both set new National records in securing their Gold Medals
